The Alameda All Stars

The Alameda All Stars have been performing throughout the Bay Area and beyond for 25 years. During their illustrious history the Alameda All Stars have kept up a high level of musicianship along with a very professional approach to entertaining audiences. Their infectious dance beat and humorous asides are sown throughout a well-planned stage show. Over the years the band has also been a springboard into the high levels of the music biz... and they're still packing them in!

Chris Cain

Chris Cain's jazz-tinged, blues soaked guitar and deep warm vocals have the maturity and authenticity of bluesmen many years his senior. His expressive style is the result of a lifetime of study and the relentless pursuit of music mastery. In addition to his recording career and heavy touring schedule, Chris Cain's music has been featured in both film and theater.

Chris Camozzi

A native of the Bay Area, Chris Camozzi was raised by musical parents. At the age of seven he was inspired to take up guitar after watching the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show. After high school Chris Camozzi became a fixture on the Reno Tahoe and Vegas circuits, where he picked up the bass, synthesizers and drums as secondary instruments. He soon joined Michael Bolton and Mariah Carey for several world tours and television performances. Chris Camozzi is a must for anyone looking for the best in smooth jazz.

Chris Cobb

When Chris Cobb opened for Stevie Ray Vaughan in 1984, East Bay Express critic Lee Hildebrand wrote "I hope Vaughan was standing in the wings taking notes." High praise indeed.

Hurricane Sam

Hurricane Sam is a great piano player with lightning-fast fingers, sure handed clarity and has the rhythmic intensity of an entire band. He is a unique and compelling vocalist who brings a rough-hewn drama to his carefully chosen lyrics. More than that, Hurricane Sam is an exciting, high energy performer, whose enthusiasm towards his audience is as clear as his love for the blues, jazz, and country traditions from which his music comes.

Joe Louis Walker

Only a decade ago, Bay Area bluesman Joe Louis Walker was one of the idiom's best kept secrets despite clearly possessing prodigious talent. His crisp, concise guitar work - whether on conventional single string lead or employing a crashing slide -- slices like a machete; his gospel-influenced vocal delivery grabs hold of a lyric and simply refuses to let go, and his songwriting skills are incisive and prolific. In short, he is the total package. Yet for years he was known only to a loyal following of hip aficionados. Those days are over. Today Joe Louis Walker reigns as one of the hottest and most respected names in blues.

John Lee Hooker, Jr.

Songwriter, Performer and Entertainer. The powerful music of John Lee Hooker Jr. will strongly move all that hear! His songs are filled with spirit and passion. His message is both controversial, and uncompromised. In his youth he learned showmanship from friends and legendary artists like the late greats Jimmy Reed and Big Mama Thorton. The young man absorbed the style, energy and the attitude needed to become a consummate performer. John Lee Hooker Jr. has earned a spot as a featured singer in The Coast To Coast Blues Band.

Nitecry

Nitecry has long been known as one of the hardest-rocking combos in the South Bay. Fronted by ace guitarist Rene Solis, Nitecry laces its sound with West Coast R&B and blues. The groove-giddy lead and background vocals are buoyed by Richard Palmer's keyboards and Craig Detwiler's honky-tonk saxophone.

Rod Piazza & the Mighty Flyers

Don't make the mistake of thinking of Rod Piazza as one of the "young turks" of the blues, or part of the "new generation" of blues greats. At this point in his career, Piazza has been recording longer than his mentor George "Harmonica" Smith did, or Sonny Boy Williamson (either of them!), or Big Walter Horton. He's been making records for more years than Little Walter was alive. Piazza is a tried-and-true, dyed-in-the-wool blues veteran with credentials that are second to none.

Tommy Castro

Tommy Castro, one of the brightest young stars on the international blues scene, is fast emerging as a household name among blueslovers everywhere. Tommy Castro is a supremely-talented, gifted guitarist and a deeply-soulful vocalist who combines a rock and roll delivery with a touch of Memphis soul. Add his riveting and remarkable stage presence to the musical mix, and he's a total entertainment package.
