California Cowboys

Clear Blue 22

Clear Blue 22 came together in Reno, NV in the spring of 2001. From the first meeting it was clear that despite coming from very different backgrounds, their talents complemented each other perfectly. They weren't sure where they were headed, but they felt sure that they would get there together. Clear Blue 22 quickly became one of Nevada's favorite country rock bands, developing a dedicated regional following through their tireless touring in the festival and casino circuit. The trio is well known for their high-energy performances and the ability to keep the crowd on the dance floor with a rousing combination of honky-tonk and rock influences.

Doug Adamz

Doug Adamz grew up on the Texas-Mexico border and his songs often reflect that colorful cultural mix. He has since branched out into multiple genres of music and his compositions and performances reflect this breadth of musical sensibility and acumen. His most recent project is a CD of all solo guitar pieces called "Guitar Solos". In the San Francisco Bay Area, where he currently resides, he's probably best known for his work with "Bravo!", a good time Americana dance band. Doug has composed instrumental music featured in television and film scores and performed by The Joffrey Ballet and The Kronos Quartet. Adamz is considered a pioneer of the New Age and World Beat genres because of his internationally known recordings with the group "Light Rain". Some of his humorous songs have been recorded by Dr. Elmo, of "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" fame. Whatever the style, Doug's music has a soulful signature that speaks straight from the heart.

Fred McCarty

Fred is a musicians' musician. He has composed well in excess of three hundred songs and compositions. His background includes composition and performance experience in many musical genres, with deep roots in bluegrass and Country. Some of Fred's earliest influences were; Marty Robbins, Roy Orbison, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Sr., Bob Wills, Sons of the Pioneers and Gene Autry. Professional in every way, Fred McCarty's band delivers a performance that is dynamic and full of energy. Their rich vocal harmonies, combined with outstanding instrumental expertise, make each performance an exciting display of musical entertainment. Fred McCarty stands with the best of the touring "road warriors" of American music. He's played solo, duo, as a band member and as front man. Fred has appeared with: Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Trisha Yearwood, Mark Chestnut, Charlie Daniels, Lee Greenwood and many others. His performances of country originals, Texas Swing and Cajun tunes, as well as Classic Cowboy songs in Casinos, Clubs, Halls, Concert Theaters, Fairs, Festivals, and Rodeos, continue to be a favorite for audiences from coast-to-coast.

Sidesaddle & Company

Sidesaddle & Company has been captivating their audiences with their unique acoustic sound since 1979 when the band was first established. The five members of the band come from an interesting variety of musical backgrounds, which come alive in their repertoire of primarily traditional Bluegrass music, seasoned with vintage Country, Irish, Cajun and Cowboy Western. Their popularity is extended further by including Gospel, Folk, Novelty and Comedy. Billboard Magazine has called their music "superbly melodic". Critics have hailed Sidesaddle & Company's performances as "sophisticated and highly entertaining" and their harmonies "impeccable".

Silver Creek

Silver Creek is a high energy four-piece band that performs mostly popular country music and is versatile enough to play rock, metal, rap or funk. They are based in San Jose, California, and has earned a fine reputation as a premier local band in Santa Clara County.

True Blue

True Blue is the most exciting traditional band to come out of California in years. They've all known each other for decades, and played in various combinations, but never together in one band. The sound is fresh, yet steeped in the soul of Bill Monroe and the rhythmic feel of Flatt & Scruggs.
